Jelly Roll's Wife, Bunnie XO, Shares Personal Memories Of Their Love Story In Honor Of His 39th Birthday (2024)

Jelly Roll‘s wife, Bunnie XO, penned a heartfelt message to her husband in honor of his 39th birthday. On Monday (Dec. 4), the Dumb Blonde Podcast host took to her TikTok and Instagram to acknowledge the “NEED TO FAVOR” singer’s birthday with special posts.

The first post was a throwback to “this day” one year ago on TikTok. “Happy frickin’ Birthday to the man that hangs my moon & stars!! The country boy who made this city girl an honest woman. The man whose soul & intentions are so pure that the universe has wrapped him in her arms of love. The King of Hearts & Broken Souls. Who every man should aspire to be more like. You are so damn special & still make me blush to this day. I absolutely worship your celestial soul. The greatest man I’ve ever met. Happiest trip around the moon angelbabypunkinpie. I love you daddy.”

In addition to sharing a message for her husband, Bunnie XO also offered a glimpse into their nearly decade-long love story with a video that featured personal footage from the first month of their relationship (July-August of 2016).

“Happy happy birthday to the GOAT,” Bunnie captioned the video on Instagram, which featured clips from 2016 when their relationship was just blossoming. “Not a lot of words this year, I’ve said everything you could possibly say these past 8 years – so here’s just some private moments from July & August (the first month we were together),” the text that appeared overtop the video read.

The video was to the soundtrack of Kelsea Ballerini’s “I Hate Love Songs.” The video concluded with a message from Bunnie XO that read, “Happy happy happy birthday to the man who taught me how to love, but most importantly, how to stay. You are the best thing that’s happened to this world in a long time. I need you, I want you, I love you, infinity. Happy Birthday, sweet angel baby boy.”

How Did Jelly Roll And Bunnie XO Meet?

Jelly Roll, 39, andBunnie, 43, first met at one of the Nashville native’s concerts onFremont Street in Las Vegasat The Country Saloon in 2015. At the time, Bunnie XO wasn’t familiar with Jelly Roll, as he had not yet been discovered. Despite not knowing each other right off the bat, the two locked eyes and sparked a connection.

“We hit it off. She said she fell in love with the saddest eyes in the room,” Jelly Roll previously shared.

In 2022, the beloved couple made theirred carpet debutat the 56th Annual CMA Awards.

Recently Renewed Their Vows

The pair recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. In honor of their anniversary, Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO recently returned to the Las Vegas chapel where they wed torenew their vowsin an intimate ceremony. The couple took fans inside the Sin City based, A Stained Glass Wedding Chapel, sharing photos and videos from their vow renewal. The snapshots shared to social media include a range of different moments from the memorable evening, including one showcasing her and Jelly Roll standing beneath a white arch with their hands entwined as they exchanged vows.

Alongside the photos, Bunnie XO penned a heartfelt caption that embodies the couple’s love story, which began with a serendipitous encounter in 2015.

“Who knew a chance encounter in 2015 would lead to our stars colliding a year later in the cutest, tiniest chapel in Vegas exchanging vows of forever when neither one of even knew what forever meant. I had no idea who you were, yet my soul felt like I knew you for 10 lifetimes,” she began.

7 Years Later, Same Wedding Chapel

Bunnie XO later recalled the night they first said “I do” and the promise that Jelly Roll made to her that night.

“Before we stumbled in that chapel, you grabbed my hands & looked me straight in the eyes & said, ‘Bunnie, our lives won’t always be like this. You won’t have to do what you do for much longer, we’re going to figure this out. I promise you.’ ”

She admitted that she had “no idea” what life would throw at them after their wedding day, but knew she could tackle anything as long as she had Jelly Roll by her side.

“These past 7 years have been a whirlwind dark fairytale,” Bunnie XO continued. “Nothing we have accomplished as lovers & friends was easy. We fought to become the people we are, to break the childhood traumas we were ‘blessed’ with & learn to love in a healthy way. To right all our wrongs & create a home to raise Bailee in that she can be proud of. No matter what life has thrown our way, we walked through the fire together, hand in hand, w/ a smile.”
