1. FILL OUT YOUR ANNUAL STUDENT ENROLLMENT FORMS
If you have not filled it out already, make sure you log on to Skyward and complete the Annual Student Enrollment form. Families of both returning and new students need to complete this step. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete. For more information, including a how-to video on how to complete the form on Skyward, click here.
2. MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS CURRENT WITH IMMUNIZATIONS
To attend YES Prep, you must provide a signed record of your child's current immunizations. For more details, visit our YES Prep Immunization page.
3. ATTEND BACK-TO-SCHOOL / MEET THE TEACHER EVENTS
Plan to attend your school’s Meet the Teacher (elementary) or Back-to-School (secondary) events and any other activities your school is hosting to prepare you and your child for the beginning of the school year. Click here to find out what date and time your school's event is.
4. GET FAMILIAR WITH DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS
YES Prep’s dress code policy is centered around values of equity and school pride. The YES Prep dress code allows for building individuality and allows for community building through campus-specific attire. The dress code is a daily expectation and should meet district and campus guidelines. Visit our Dress Code webpage to learn more.
5. HAVE UNIFORMS READY
Student are required to wear YES Prep-branded top. Purchase the uniform polo(s) and/or spirit shirt(s) online by clicking here.
6. HAVE A CLEAR OR TRANSPARENT BACKPACK
YES Prep will require all students to use clear or transparent backpacks. Small non-transparent bags no larger than 6” x 9” will be allowed for personal items, such as school supplies, cellphones, money and hygiene products.
7. PURCHASE ITEMS ON YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST
Print out your child’s school supply list and purchase items to make sure your child has all they will need for class. You can find your school's supply list on our Back-to-School page.
8. SECURE YOUR CHILD’S TRANSPORTATION
If needed, make sure your child’s transportation is in place for the new school year. You can find bus routes and maps on the YES Prep transportation webpage.
9. REVIEW MEALS INFORMATION
YES Prep will continue to provide FREE breakfast and FREE lunch to all students at ALL our schools. Visit the Child Nutrition site to view menus.
10. PRINT OUT ACADEMIC CALENDAR
Stay up to date on all our important dates with our 2024-2025Academic Calendar. Make sure to schedule doctor appointments and vacations around regular school days, when possible.

3. ASISTA EL EVENTO DE CAMINO A CLASE / ¿QUIÉN ES MI MAESTRO/A?
Planee asistir el evento de ¿Quién es mi maestro/a? (primaria) o Camino a Clase (secundaria) de su escuela y otras actividades que presenten para que usted y su hijo estén listos para el primer día de clases.Haga clic aquí para saber qué fecha y hora es el evento de su escuela.
4. FAMILIARIZARSE CON LAS EXPECTATIVAS DEL CÓDIGO DE VESTIMENTA
La póliza del código de vestimenta de YES Prep se centra en los valores de equidad y orgullo escolar. El código de vestimenta de YES Prep permite desarrollar la individualidad y la comunidad a través de la vestimenta específica de la escuela. El código de vestimenta es una expectativa diaria y debe cumplir con las pautas del distrito y de la escuela.Visita nuestra página web de Código de Vestimenta para obtener más información.
5. TENGA LOS UNIFORMES LISTOS
Se requiere que los estudiantes usen uniforme de YES Prep. Compre el polo y/o camiseta de orgullo escolar en línea haciendo clic aquí.
6. TENGA UNA MOCHILA CLARA O TRANSPARENTE
YES Prep requiereque todos los estudiantes usen mochilas claras o transparentes. Se permitirán bolsas pequeñas no transparentes que no superen las 6” x 9” para artículos personales, como útiles escolares, teléfonos celulares, dinero y productos de higiene.
7. COMPRE LOS ÚTILES ESCOLARES
Imprima la lista de útiles escolares de su hijo(a) y compra los artículos para asegurarse de que su hijo tenga todo lo que necesitará para sus clases. La lista de útiles esta en nuestra página web de Regreso a Clases.
8. ASEGURE EL TRANSPORTE DE SU HIJO
Si lo necesita, asegúrese de que el transporte de su hijo(a) esté listo para el nuevo año escolar. Puede encontrar rutas de autobús y mapas en la página web de transporte de YES Prep.
9. REVISE INFORMACIÓN DE COMIDAS
YES Prep continuará brindando desayuno y almuerzo GRATIS a todos los estudiantes en TODAS nuestras escuelas. Visite el sitio de Nutrición para ver los menús.
10. IMPRIMA EL CALENDARIO ACADÉMICO
Mantengase al día de todas nuestras fechas importantes con nuestro Calendario Académico 2024-2025. Asegúrese de programar las citas con el médico y las vacaciones alrededor de los días escolares regulares, cuando sea posible.
