How to Store

This caramel apple dip should stay fresh for 3-5 days when properly stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It’s great that it lasts a few days, but I always prefer it on the first day or two after making it. So delish!

Serving Suggestions

I made this creamy caramel dip with apples in mind, so of course I recommend serving this with apple slices (green or red, whichever you prefer!). But there are plenty of other uses for this recipe.

Try this dip with pretzels, spread it lightly on toast for a special breakfast treat, mix it into a bowl of ice cream, or try it with other fruits (bananas, berries, or pears).

It would be amazing as a caramel fondue and you can dip to your heart’s desire! Cube other goodies, like cheesecake, brownies, or pound cake, and dip in the caramel sauce for a delicious treat!

Are apples and caramel a healthy snack? ›

Caramel is a deliciously sweet sauce that can turn up the volume on any dessert it's added to. How many days do candy apples last? ›

Candied apples will last about 3 days in the refrigerator. You'd think they'd last longer (aren't they just apples coated in sugar?) but the hole made by the wooden stick causes them to degrade faster, limiting their shelf life. Store them in an airtight container to keep the sugar coating as crisp as possible.

Can caramel apples be stored at room temperature? ›

Keep them cool
